ORA Solution

Reports Screen
Monitoring & Recording ORA progress is made very easy with ORDITA, (the Operations Readiness Database Implementation & Tracking Application).

Similarly, many of the standard reports required from ORA during the course of the project have been automated to reduce the effort required to produce accurate detailed reports.

ORA Reports Screen

The full range of reports available on demand from the ORA Solution is fully explained in the 'About ORA' pages of the ORA Solution.

The information provided in the reports contain detail information about the current status of implementation of the ORA process and progression towards 'Ready to Operate' status.

ORA Plan
Perhaps the most immediately useful of the
ORA Solution reports is the ORA Plan. This is an .XML file, generated from the reports page, which contains all the relevant information required to build an ORA Plan using the preferred project management software (such as Primavera or MS Project or other project planning tools).

ORA Plan (illustrated from MS Project)

The ORA Plan XML file imported into Microsoft Project, Primavera or other project planning tool produces a fully detailed plan down to Task Level which can then be used to prepare the detailed ORA Plan by aligning it to the Project Milestones from the Integrated Project Plan.

Adding the task durations and resources to the plan (which cannot be pre-programmed because every Project and ORA Team is different) the user creates a fully detailed plan for the ORA activities in their specific Project.

From this point, the budget for ORA Activities is easy to develop by adding the costs of each resource (and any additional travel and accommodation costs) producing a very accurate budget estimate.

ORA (Excel) Dashboard report
For the traditionalists amongst users, the ORA
Solution has retained the Excel spreadsheet output which shows the current status of every task, at the point of generation of the report.

ORA (Excel) Dashboard report

When the Excel dashboard is generated, the filename created by the ORA Solution uses the time , date and Project name (to aid version control) since it is an instantaneous snapshot of the current status.

The file is a standard, editable Excel spreadsheet with outlining features allowing it to show detail at Group, Subject, Phase, Activity and Task levels.

The colour codes used to denote phases or current status are the same as those used in the ORA Solution, as standard.

ORA (MS Word) reports
Another feature of the ORA
Solution, is the ability to generate a range of pre-defined reports in MS Word. The range of reports has been created in response to user needs identified over the years of experience, but means that it is no longer necessary to spend hours creating activity reports when they can be produced on demand. The available reports include:

ORA Solution MS Word reports

As with the Excel output, each MS Word report is named using the time, date and project name. Each is a standard MS Word file that can be further edited by the user.

Other reports can be created on demand by ORA Ltd. if specific content or presentation is required.
